Just one more cigarette I swear I'm through, one more night and I'll be over you. Your smoke still lingers in my clothes, I still ache for you deep in my bones. Chorus: And I swear I'll quit, just give me one more hit. I'll light it up, watch it burn low leave my fingertips numb, breathe it in slow. All I have left of you is this drug, and one is never enough. I know regret comes tomorrow, but I'll never learn Cause its always the last, till the last turns to one more. Is it worth the pain of saying goodbye, when all we need is one to take us this high Chorus: And I swear I'll quit, just give me one more hit. I'll light it up, watch it burn low leave my fingertips numb, breathe it in slow. All I have left of you is this drug, and one is never enough. Just for tonight, I'll fake okay but come tomorrow, I'll have to face The burning desire, the look in your eyes Fire in my throat and impossible goodbye Chorus: And I swear I'll quit, just give me one more hit. I'll light it up, watch it burn low leave my fingertips numb, breathe it in slow. All I have left of you is this drug, and one is never enough.

Roots 03:47
Early to rise, up before the sun Got alot to do before I make it home to you, my love Dusty covered overalls and muddy rubber boots, driving in my pickup racing through my thoughts of you. Gonna bust down the front door and wrap you in my arms. This little prairie life, my prairie wife, my love Chorus: Its in our blood, its in our veins down to our roots the way were raised. A life wide open with nothing to hide were going all in on this crazy ride. My love Bread is in the oven and the kettles on the stove. Dreaming through my day wishing you were here my dear. Laundry's on the line your voice echos in my mind, the night is getting near, I'm missing you my dear. Chorus: Its in our blood, its in our veins down to our roots the way were raised. A life wide open with nothing to hide were going all in on this crazy ride. My love Sunset eyes, midnight drives. My prairie love to hold at night, dances in the dark I'll meet you in the barn ending with you is my favorite part Chorus: Its in our blood, its in our veins down to our roots the way were raised. A life wide open with nothing to hide were going all in on this crazy ride. My love

Oil Man 02:21
I lived the life of an Oil Man packing my things, saying my prayers and I'd be gone before dawn. I would go and kiss my baby goodbye, I could see the tears in her eyes but I knew if i stayed, Id never go back. I'm a man of my word but I've signed my soul to the devil. Now there's money for rent but this hell is all that I know. So its up with the sun, down with the moon. Working all day, making my way through the long haul. It distracts me from my thoughts. Well Id keep a picture of her in my pocket and Id write to her each day but whether she got it I don't know. I haven't heard from her, for far to long. I'm a man of my word but I've signed my soul to the devil. Now there's money for rent but this hell is all that I know. Well naturally all things come to an end. Now I've got no one to sit and hold my oil stained hands. I've got a big ole house, but I'm all alone. Working all my days just to hide the pain of living life as an Oil Man. Working all my days just to hide the pain of living life as an Oil Man.

Last Dance 03:28
I see you from across the room your eyes bore into mine, all I see is you. Like a drug my love I'm breathing you in. Don't forget who you are come morning. Last night I shared a little too much. You found more of me than anyone else has done. Lets take this slow one more dance then we'll go, one more dance. Give me a chance then we'll know but one more dance. Like a thread you've pulled out everything. I am frayed and lie here waiting. Take my life and hold it in the palm of your hands, cause its only with you that I like who I am. Lets take this slow one more dance then we'll go, one more dance. Give me a chance then we'll know but one more dance. I see you from across the room, your eyes bore into mine. All I see is you.

White Church 02:30
I'm sick of walking around this town with my head between my knees. Trying hard to be someone, I could never be. Well you've got your perfect way of living, you've got your perfect model type and I will never fit in to your perfect way of life. You've got your little white church, you've got your little white house. You've got the picket fence out back and all the shallow graves you dug. and all the skeletons you keep from all the people that you've hurt, and all that you've got left is your little white church. Well I've been down this road before, I know where it leads. All the power, fight and greed will end up in defeat. And you tell me its the right way, the right way to go. But my judgments clouded over by the crosses row on row. You've got your little white church, you've got your little white house. You've got the picket fence out back and all the shallow graves you dug. and all the skeletons you keep from all the people that you've hurt, and all that you've got left is your little white church. You've got your little white church, you've got your little white house. You've got the picket fence out back and all the shallow graves you dug. and all the skeletons you keep from all the people that you've hurt, and all that you've got left is your little white church.

I've been dancing with your ghost. Refusing to admit, your not coming home. I keep playing goodbye over in my mind. Its a song I've now come to memorize. All the pictures lined up neatly in a row, hanging so perfect no one would know. On the inside all my walls were crumbling down. All the best parts of me scattered to the ground. People tell me I'll be fine but they don't hear the constant echo in my mind. Of all the things you swore you would do, and all the tiny pieces that fit to make you. If I could take us back, to the night before your last. I would kiss your face and tell you about your place in this world. All you continue to do and all that I love about you. How when I close my eyes, your face is the last thing I see at night.
